Preparation

Before Your Kambo Ceremony

For two to three days before ceremony, you need to eat cleanly: no alcohol; recreational drugs; fried, heavy, spicy, or processed foods. You also need to abstain from sex and masturbation.

Water Consumption

Participants will drink about 2 liters of water before the Kambo is applied. Maintaining a clean diet is followed by a necessary 2L of water finished by 20-30 minutes before ceremony begins, not at the last minute. Water is a very important aspect of the Kambo process. As the Kambo draws toxins into the stomach, the water will act as the vehicle to carry it out and facilitate the process of purification through purging. It can be mildly uncomfortable for individuals to drink as much water as we do doing during a Kambo process, but it is essential. Drinking immediately before applying medicine can of course result in much vomit and give the impression of a “successful” ceremony, but this is a false purge. Nevertheless, clients need to be thoroughly hydrated to ensure smooth expulsion of bile, solids, etc. and to protect their health. As biological beings, water is our first medicine and we will regard it as such. Ignoring this precaution can result in feeling like they are puking up cement instead of olive oil, simply put.

Food

Fasting 10-12 hours before a ceremony is required for many reasons, including to prevent choking as the body’s tissue (including the esophagus) swell as a reaction to Kambo venom. Otherwise, however, clients must not fast in the 3 days before or after a ceremony. Furthermore colonics, enemas, and liver flushes are prohibited for the same duration.

Pre-Ceremony Tasks & Info

Please read and complete the liability waiver prior to your ceremony. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out before the day of your scheduled ceremony.

Also, please expect to have all money exchanges complete before your ceremony (Paypal, Venmo, Bitcoin (or possibly other cryptos)). This information will be coordinated prior to the day of ceremony. If you decide not to do your Kambo ceremony after you have already paid, you will receive a refund in full.

*Please note* This will be the case for single sessions. If a client has already paid for the traditional (3 ceremonies per lunar cycle) and has completed at least one of these ceremonies but decides not to complete the last 1-2, matters will be resolved fairly.
