- Heart bypass surgery
- Enlarged heart
- Implanted cardioverter defibrillators
- Congestive heart disease
- Excess fluid in the heart sack
- Heart valve replacement surgery
- Organ transplant
- Active ulcers

- Crohn’s Disease/Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Taking immune-suppressants
- Epilepsy
- Serious mental health conditions, excluding depression, PTSD, and anxiety

CAUTIONS
- People taking diet/weight loss or sleep supplements
- People with an active drug or alcohol addiction
- Fasting is not appropriate 7 days before or after taking Kambo
- Colonics, enemas, liver flushes, or any water-based detox should be avoided within 3 days before and after taking Kambo
- The consumption of alcohol or other recreational substances 24-48 hours before or after the treatment is to be avoided
- It is STRONGLY ADVISED for participants to not drink more than 5 liters of water during the treatment, including 2 hours before and after. 6 to 10 liters of water consumed in a short period of time can cause a drastic reduction in the concentration of electrolytes in the blood, threatening the homeostatic stability of the organism and its life.
- Also be cautious with people with severe immune system disorders, such as MS and ALS taking Kambo. In these conditions, the immune system attacks the body. By stimulating the immune system, immune responses can be intensified. However, MS and ALS patients may feel better after the Kambo session, because the Kambo likely modulates the immune system. In case of a severe immune disorder, it is recommended to give a single round the first time, wait for the effects, and then decide afterward if the Kambo session had a healing effect.
